PSPPR is a non-profit organization. As a small, local society, we work very closely with our members. In fact, our membership has the opportunity to directly shape the future of PSPPR, as you’ll often interact one-on-one with our board members. And you could consider running for a board position yourself!

Your membership dues are the sole means of support for PSPPR. Your dues allow us to cover basic operating expenses (e.g., post office box, website hosting, and advertising). More importantly, your membership dues allow us to host free events for the Pikes Peak community, such as Learning and Libations (our monthly, informal talk series) and to subsidize the costs of our larger Continuing Education events. Without your annual support, PSPPR would cease to exist!

Our goal at PSPPR is to provide educational and entertaining events for our members, while building a sense of community among the psychologists in Southern Colorado. We strive to meet the needs of our community, by choosing speakers and topics that address pressing issues (e.g., ethics and emotional competency training, suicidality, drug and alcohol abuse, and conflict management). We provide events to our membership that are convenient (typically located in downtown Colorado Springs) and low-cost.

Membership dues cover the individual for one calendar year.
